Notes:shunga print by Clifton Karhu, picturing the entanglement of a Japanese woman with a western man. Although Karhu lived in Japan from 1955, he didn't begin making woodblock prints until the 1960s, which would place this print among his early work. It is likely that this is a self portrait of the artist.
